Sounds like some progress then.

Since there are so many networks in your area, one could assume you
live in a densely populated area - possibly lots of cordless phones and
microwave ovens...

Inactive streaming is normal, once the rest of the song is in the
buffer it stops streaming.  However it should show something in the
buffer though.
