I installed the 6.5.1 shortly after it was released. Since then 'Clear & Rescan' has not worked: the scanner starts, runs for less than 30 secs, and then shuts down. The SS web interface then says I've got 1 Genre with 1 album!
I can sort things out by deleting the cache and forcing a complete rescan; but that seems a bit drastic for routine use. I run SS 6.5.1 and MusicIP 1.7.1 on win XPsp2. SS using MM, and 'blank' music folder setting. I've just signed up to RadioTime.
