FWIW, on my Windows XP home system I was having problems streaming music files (but not radio) after I upgraded to 6.5.1. I updated my socketwrapper file with the one at the following location and everything worked again.
http://homepage.eircom.net/~altondsl/slim/socketwrapper_0.12_20060220.zip The original file is located in: C:\Program Files\Slimserver\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\ I believe.
