I'm not sure I understand what you mean by pressing stop.  I just have a
pause feature.  If I press pause, the music pauses. 

Yes, I figured it was a bug, but I'm hoping to find some kind of
reasonable way to use softsqueeze.  Killing the processes manually
every time isn't really reasonable.
