This is because SS needs the right permissions to access folders / drives on a Win XP system if you have yourself set up as a specific User. Another way of dealing with this is to enter your user login details in the SS service properties. Do 'Start / Run: services.msc' then scroll down to slimserver, and right click and select Properties. Open the 'Log On' tab, select 'This Account' and fill in your log on details. This will then allow SS to start at system startup (without these details, the system shuts it down again when it tries to start!) -- Diana -- Diana ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Diana's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7463 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31162 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
