Yes, that's about it. right now, my secondary system for poolside is the NAD and I use an iPod connected to the amp with Monster Cable resulting in pretty good sound. Also connected is an XM radio, a CD changer and a NAD tuner. Actually, the NAD is in my basement near a window, so your idea of a second SB3 outside is a good one 'cause remote control is essential. The Airport Express just seemed like an inexpensive alternative since outside listening is limited to the warmer months.
