Rather than having slimserver on the PS3, I would want Soft Squeeze on the PS3. I already have my 60GB Apple Lossless music collection on my Mac in my office. I already have a Squeezebox in the living room with my small stereo system (Onkyo stereo receiver, JBL bookshelf speakers). I also have a PS3 with my 61" JVC HDTV and Denon 7.1 receiver and Klipsch speakers. I would like to use the PS3 for streaming music from my Mac and play it over the Denon/Klipsch. I don't want to use up disk space in my PS3. All I want is the PS3 to connect to the Slimserver on my mac and stream.
Otherwise, I might have to get an Apple TV or something.
