that there are many reasons the tags don't show, but I disagree that FLAC only supports ogg vorbis. Most of my music is ripped to FLAC and all of the tags are in IDEv2, as recommended in the forums.
Yooper, you didn't give us alot of informaton, but my first guess is that the album is in WAV format which doesn't support tags. However, there are still many other reasons. I'd recommend downloading a tag editor (I use MP3Tag because it's free but many here recommend Tag & Rename) to see more information on that album.
