Hi DLloyd Yes I can ping the Squeeze Box. I have tried uninstalling the Slimserver software and then reinstalling SlimServer Version: 6.5.1 - 11206 - Windows Vista - EN - cp1252.
It scans my music database fine, when in STATUS, just gives me the message - Your player was not found. I have checked my McAfee Firewall and the following programs all have full access: slim.exe, slimtray.exe, scanner.exe and mysqld.exe. Infact most programs shown have full access. I have also tried adding SlimServer into System Services setting both Inbound and Outbound TCP/IP ports to 9000. Not sure if this was required, but this made no difference either. Any ideas anybody.
