We've been here a few times before ... personally I think that if you sell a CD (on eBay or anywhere else) you've just lost the right to keep the ripped copies. Consider the CD as a "licence to use".
OK, the law may not have caught up with fair use yet but if and when it ever does, it will almost certainly say that you have a right to make copies of a CD you *own* to play in various devices. Once you've sold it you don't own it any more.
