I remember that there was a discussion on some forum some years back not
related to Slimdevices at all but to some disadvantages of the WAV audio
format, especially how audodata is stored inside the WAV file.

As a result the athours of the given thread anticipated problems when
playing WAV files in a envoronment where TIMING matters. In the given
forum it was all about harddiskrecording software and studio equipment
and why AIFF is to prefer over WAV.

Allthough I cannot remember the details and I it may be, that all this
has nothing to do with your problem, I propose that you convert some of
the files which show the problem to some other lossless format which can
be played by transporter directly and see if the problems still occurs.

Since I´m not familiar with transporter (SB1 user) I do not know what
to choose best. In theory AIFF or FLAC should be best. Its of course
usless if the format is convertet on the fly by the server.

Sorry for beeing so vague... just a thought.
