Are you talking about the setting in the SlimServer web interface ? In that case, it looks like this would do the trick according to the samples beside the field in the web interface: 123.123.90-110.* (I haven't verified that this works myself)
However, you shall be aware of that this will just limit access the SlimServer process. The rest of the open ports on the computer will still be wide open for everyone from everywhere. If you are going to make SlimServer available over internet I would seriously consider to either install a separate firewall on the computer or put a separate hardware router/firewall in front of SlimServer. If you are running SlimServer on Windows a separate firewall software or router is very important to secure the setup, Linux is a bit better as long as you know what you are doing. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.homeip.net) 'My download page' (http://erland.homeip.net/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library and RandomPlayList plugins' (http://wiki.erland.homeip.net/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32210 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
