With Logitech's financing they'd be able to do it. However gaining market share on the 800 lb gorilla that is Apple is a tall order. Also portable audio isn't Slim's core competency or even Logitech's. The market is littered with once mighty companies and fantastic players that have been killed off by Apple. Something they could offer which Apple doesn't is wi-fi connectivity.
