Good idea! Thanks for the suggestion. I programmed the AUX button on the comcast remote (which is the silver variety for the silver Comcast Motorola DVR) as follows:
1) Press AUX 2) Hold down the Setup Key for a 2-3 seconds until Aux blinks twice. 3) Enter the code 0623 (found on the instruction leaflet that came with it. 4) That's it! The only significant mapping that doesn't work is Volume, which is a bummer but I need that remote handly all the time anyway. Mappings that work: - Pause = Pause & continue - Play = Starts when music is stopped, works as Now Playing when music is playing - Stop = Stops music. FWD = next track REW = beginning of current track - Up, Down, Left and Right Arrows - operate perfectly as expected - exit = repeat toggle - OK/Select = Shuffle Toggle - Numbers = work as they do on native remote Holding keys will work the same way as they do on the native remote.
