This isn't unique, though, and it took a while for him to figure it out. Happened to me once. I figure some standard warnings on the SB would be a good idea. Just after connecting to SlimServer or SqueezeNetwork: - Warning: Device volume is set to zero - Warning: Device brightness is set to zero It seems this would save quite a number of forum posts, calls to support and heads damaged from banging against the wall.
