Been searching the forums for this but couldn't find it. My understanding is that that CLI control of the squeezeboxes and transporter does not currently support controlling them when they are hooked up to the squeeze network. Thus I can't use this for access to Rhapsody, etc.
Does the RS232 control of the Transporter give me control of the Transporter while it is hooked up to the Squeeze Network? We're trying to set up Crestron control of a Squeezebox, but one of my requirements is that it continue to work if I go to the squeeze network -- since that is what I'm using half the time (for Rhapsody and Pandora). I am willing to buy a Transporter to make this work. I would be okay with the Crestron interface only giving me whatever was displayed on the Squeezebox/Transporter if that made this simple.
