Hi, I use iTunes to set volume adjustment (akin to replay gain) on individual tracks -- I think they call it Sound Check. My understanding from reading the wiki is that slimserver will recognize these. However, when I turn on volume adjustment on my squeezebox I don't hear any difference in sound level. Am I right in assuming that selecting or deselecting the volume adjustment option on my squeezebox should result in immediate results, or do I have to restart slimserver (or the squeezebox) before I hear results? If so, any ideas why I don't hear any effect?
