Eric - I've used iVolume for ages now and it does work brilliantly. I'm a complete beginner with Slim Server though and before I read your post I wasn't sure that iVolume was being recognised. I'm always adjusting the volume on the remote which I wasn't doing when my iPod was my music system. I've also got Track Gain enabled in settings. Is there something I need to do for it to work better?
