I think that changing OS's willy nilly is a strange way to diagniose the
problem. You really ought to try checking that the Squeezebox'S firmware
is reporting the mac address that's written on the base of the unit and
change it if it is not. In my experience a factory reset will not
automatically reset the mac address to what it's supposed to be.
