Steve, It was a firewall problem - not with McAfee, but with Windows Firewall. I reconfigured the Slimserver exception in Windows Firewall to 9100 from 9000, and now Slim Server can play files. The last problem is the browser interface - If I click on your link above, I can access SlimServer.
