Well, the password is sent in-the-clear, an outdated way of sending a
password because it's embedded in the URL which is not encrypted.

It's unlikely that anyone will be monitoring your traffic this closely,
but it's not the kind of security you'd use in online banking.

Try IP blocking instead.  Server Settings - Security.  Make sure to
allow 127.0.0.1 as well as your DHCP pool or LAN addresses.  This is
very effective.

Also pretty unlikely, but you can eliminate this by placing an opaque
object in front of the SB when you go to bed.

Server Settins - Debugging.  d_source will tell you precisely when it
starts and what event caused it to start.  d_ir might tell you if there
was IR activity from the remote detected at that time.

One of the other debugging flags might tell you what remote clients
were connected to SlimServer, but I'm not sure which one.
