Suddenly, my scan has failed. Actually, i don't know how suddenly since I normally don't use scan results.
Playlists and albums are both empty. I've tried a number of the 6.5.2 betas - from the latest back to late february. Is there anything going on that i've missed in the forums or the bug lists? A complete uninstall/reinistall didn't help. My music and playlists are on a network drive, addressed in \\machine\path format.
