I'm not so sure it's a poor design choice. Since most of its power is housed in the server, the Squeezebox is the most customizeable, flexible, changeable tech device of any sort available today IMHO. I have what would be considered an older PC but it does all my everyday tasks and runs SlimServer without complaint or stress. And on only 512 MB of RAM. I'm really quite surprised that the majority of people run 1 GB since I've never had any issues with excessive page file usage - I have to open 10+ uncompressed raw images in GIMP before I get into paging. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33695 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
