Well I went into power management and changed the setting to never sleep. Started slimserver and waited till I could connect to it with the browser, hit the on button and .. nothing. After pressing the on button for 90 sec or so the SB connected.
Is there away in windows to control individual processes and stop them going to sleep? I recall that UNIX processes that idled too long could get swapped out to save memory but that was in the 80s. -- gusi ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gusi's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3801 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31826 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
