I guess that I would be considered one of the "new arrivals". I just recently discovered SlimDevices and Squeezebox - after it was acquired by Logitech, as it turns out. I found out about it from a BestBuy MP3 player with Rhapsody that my wife bought at Best Buy - sorry. :) The SlimDevices and Squeezebox names don't do much for me, truthfully. Since I don't have the history they don't evoke a sense of high-end audio - or maybe it is just that I'm not a big fan of accordion music. And transporter is a movie about several car chases...I liked it, but it doesn't sound like audio equipment to me. Ironically the Logitech name does mean high-end equipment to me - their trackball has certainly saved my hand over the years and I don't know how I (or my wife) would be able to operate our AV equipment nearly as efficiently without our several Harmony remotes (discovered after they were acquired by Logitech, but not through Logitech). The Logitech experience with my Harmony remotes has been very good and they seem to want to make sure to take the time to properly support their customers. The same can be said for their trackball when I had to call them several years ago when upgrading computers with different ports. All in all, to me, the Logitech brand was a bonus and the promise of more to come. I would suggest to them that the existing experienced users be consulted with special focus groups, early access, advisory groups, etc. There is a wealth of knowledge to be drawn on and a lot of boundaries to be pushed back, etc.
