I doubt $299 is the target price point. To be competitive in the consumer market for this type of device, and to grow market share, then it needs to be $150-$200 at most, and the lower the better. Someone from SD mentioned that the Logitech branded devices won't be sold initially in big-box stores, so maybe they'll continue selling the SB3 for a bit and wait to go into those stores when they have a more consumer-oriented (read: native Windows) software client available. I imagine there's some Indian or Russian software shop full of $10/hour programmers working feaverishly right now on that software. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34009 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
