I've had a TViX HD-M5000A http://www.tvix.co.kr/Eng/products/HDM5000U.aspx And for a period I was very happy about it - stable and good quality. But it lacks support for DRM and many newer codecs so I think its life span is close to over. I've not foud any commercial products to replace the TViX 5000 so Im building a small PC. Ive ordered a motherboard with onboad HDMI / HDCP support, now Im trying to build a XP embedded with support for remote control. If I cant get that to work Ill just go with XP on a 4200rpm laptop disk. The media Ill be playing is located on a Freenas (Hergers SlimNAS version) Ill connect them with gigabit Ethernet.
