I recognize that I'm one of the bad guys in this conversation (working as I do for a company that uses DRM and works with the labels), but I'd like to suggest an alternative "try before you buy" method here. For free, for no email address or credit card or anything, you can listen to 25 tracks a month at http://www.rhapsody.com. You can use it with Firefox or MSIE or Safari on Windows, Linux, or OS-X. All legal, all above board, all pretty easy, and it's the full Rhapsody catalog (3+ million tracks) at 128kbps. You'll get the occasional nag to buy Rhapsody, and there are ads on the page, but otherwise it's the easiest way I know to sample music quickly. -- sstatman Let Your Music Discover You http://www.rhapsody.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sstatman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9603 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34366 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
