Look for a .prefs file in Slimserver's server directory. I *think* it's called slimserver.prefs.
I tried this just last night. 1. Installed SlimServer on a brand new machine. 2. Stopped SlimServer on the new machine. 3. Copied the .prefs file and the plugins directory from my previous SlimServer installation on an old machine to the new machine. 4. Restarted SlimServer on the new machine. It came up with all my old preferences. Saved me a lot of time. In this case, the SlimServer version on both the old and new machines was identical.
