Ok, the problem here is a bit stranger than I thought. I can browse the Shoutcast selection from my SB3, and when I try to play them, I get messages on the SB3 display that it is checking the stream, then connecting... and that is when it fails with a timeout message.
First, make sure you're using a 6.5.2 nightly build and not vanilla 6.5.1 ( 6.5.1 doesn't support proxied streaming). Second, go to your Player Settings from the web interface and choose the 'Audio' option. At the very bottom, you should see a box that allows you to choose between "Direct Streaming" and "Proxied Streaming". You want the latter (proxied). HTH, Ben
