Also keep in mind that if you're planning on using the optical out, the Transporter will likely sound no better than the SB3. You either have to need the superior analog-out, need the 24/96, or have a certain craving for it that simply must be satisfied. I have one and I need neither the analog-out nor the 24/96, so I truly understand your dilemma.
