I set up openvpn to do mine. My slimserver is linux but its also supposed to work on windows. My client is windows. I configured openvpn to use port 443 and opened the port on my router to direct it to the slimserver. I can now tunnel quite happily thru my works proxy server.
It did look a bit daunting at first to set up but proved to be easier than I thought.
