I'm using a 3-way optical switch (this one: http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tvcables/SW001.html) to connect my Squeezebox, Xbox 360 and occasionally my laptop to my home entertainment system (which only has one optical input).
This works great with the Xbox and my laptop but when ever I try and use the Squeezebox I get no audio. If I bypass the switch and connect the Squeezebox directly to HES I get sound. I've tried swapping over cables and using different inputs on the switch with no joy. Is there any reason why the Squeezebox wouldn't work with the switch but my Xbox and Laptop will?
