I have now been able to eliminate this 'screech" event from happening by closing the slimserver PC browser interface page, I'm using Opera 9.20 ... I was also getting into the bad habit of leaving to many tabs open unnecessarily, so I've cut back on this also....
I wonder if this makes any sense to the more experienced ... I did open Task Manager and found my CPU maxed out at 100% on occasion...Celeron 2.53GHz w/512Mb RAM.... Point being, by these accommodations I haven't experienced this event recently.... Any thoughts as to original cause with these as remedys ?
