Hi, and thanks for the replies, As you both guessed it wasn't really transporter related in the end, I hooked up a laptop to the wifi, and it could connect to the internet, but not to anything on the lan, so something really screwy was going on in the router.
After a factory reset of the router, and a reconfiguration one step at a time, everything seems to be back to normal, I still have no idea what can cause wifi to loose connection to the "internal" network whilst keeping the external network, but I'm just hoping it doesn't happen again, if it does, new router for me.
