The applications I am having problems with are pretty mainsteam - Norton Ghost, Partition Magic, Powerdesk6, Peerguardian, Comodo Firewall along with quite a few smaller specialist applications (video, audio conversion, weather station, [EMAIL PROTECTED], etc). I want Vista but given the number of XP legacy apps I have that bring up error codes there is no gain for me. Vista Ultimate will sit on a shelf for another 18 months until it is sorted. I want a new OS that will improve my productivity rather than divert me down some blind alley when I use a long forgotten application.
So back to the original statement - XP is not broken, so why try and fix it with Vista? Where are the gains? -- Heuer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Heuer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2543 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35563 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
