OK, first I disabled Windows firewall. Next edited slimserver.pref in the server folder and changed port to 9001 & saved. Then started up SlimServer from the Windows Services applet and got the error message: "SlimServer service on Local Computer started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do." For what it's worth, when Services applet was opened there was no status indicated for SlimServer (i.e. it was blank). -- Shep ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shep's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11857 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35875 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
