I did remove the music path to see if that would help and I did a full rescan (clear library and rescan music).
I relooked at my library and it seems like the only albums that have duplicate songs are the ones that I recently modded their tags. All I did was went into tag&rename and do an amazon search for info and uploaded album art and comments. The comments are stored as a text file and the art is a jpg in the folder with the albums.
