There have been a number of problems reported by users with Norton Internet Security after upgrading both to 6.5.1 and 6.5.2. For some reason, Norton doesn't recognise it as an upgrade of an existing piece of software but also doesn't ask the user to authorise the software.
Couple of suggestions which have worked for others (in order of severity): 1. Set Norton to ignore *.MYI and *.MYD files. Do a clear and rescan; 2. Force a specific authorisation for SLim.exe and socketwrapper.exe in Norton. Do a full clear and rescan; 3. Uninstall and reinstall Norton. For some reason, this seems to force Norton to "notice" the new version of Slimserver and ask you to authorise it.
