I'm actually thinking about getting a Philips TV repaired outside of
the the 1 year warranty that I was told the plasma had. Philips never
properly fixed it when I complained after about 3 months and I was too
lazy at the time to make a fuss.

I came across this and wondered if it applied to electrical goods.
