Thanks everyone for your rational. I went ahead and bought a years subscription to Mozy. It's taking about 5/6 hours to do a backup of 2GB. In a strange way I do prefer this to having an alternate drive that I have to get from wherever I choose to store it each I need to update it and then return it. Also any extra space will be used to house a new drive when the 500GB one gets full. I also like the idea of just setting it to backup and forgeting about it. My ADSL connection is reality fast about 1.3MB upstream and my ISP is about to trial a 2MB upstream service so I hear. -- DaHood ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DaHood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12425 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36938 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
