You are absolutely right about the need to trouble shoot the problem methodically. Friday, I had the my SB connection "time out" at least 4 times (after 40-60 minutes). For one reason or another I wasn't able to get to my computer in time ascertain anything from the ProcessExplorer (or Task Manager). Realizing that I needed to actually see what was going on when SB timed out, Saturday I set up the ProcessExplorer and sat in front of the computer for a couple of hours waiting for the problem to reoccur. Naturally the SB played for about 6 hours with no "timeouts". Restarts may have occurred (after the first couple of hours) without me being aware of it. In future, every time I have a listening session, I'll set up the ProcessManager ahead of time so that I can take a look at what is going on. -- gdg ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gdg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1122 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36953 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
