Hi there, I have been trying to use the built in capability for streaming OGG/Vorbis streams directly to the SB-II. When I have been listening for 10->30 seconds the player freezes with the message:
"ran out of decode NVRAM" The server is just fine. This only occurs with OGG. Streaming MP3 is no problem. I use a FreeBSD box for server, and setup the server to crossencode the OGG stream with SOX/FLAC so the stream ends up in FLAC format. This is a workaround that solves the problem here and now. It would be nice to be able to use the internal facility for decoding OGG streams though. That works fine too. I have the latest firmware and server soft. My guess is that it is some kind of issue with the internal firmwares capability for decoding OGG streams. The problem is when listening to the high qual streams from the icecast directory: http://dir.xiph.org/index.php I am trying to use the channels from Virgin Radio UK: http://dir.xiph.org/index.php?sgenre=&stype=&search=virgin The problem is with the 160 kbit sec. high qual streams.
