Yes. 2) If yes, could anyone recommend a good light distro? OSX ? If you take some time, OSX actually strips down pretty good. I have a dedicated PPC mini that runs MythTV, I have replaced the finder with myth, so about the only sign of it even being a mac is the bootup logo. I use this as a video server for my DVD ISO's, it works well in that capacity. mythtv.org is actually a good source of info on running a stripped down mini. They have howto's on running a small Linux install on it, as well as booting Linux over the network on it. -Chris
