My bad. I sometimes forget how dumb SlimServer can be. A new/changed scan will only pick up new covers if the album itself is also new. It won't pick up covers you add for existing albums. http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4565 You'll have to run a full wipe/rescan.
