I'm running one of the latest servers (SlimServer Version: 6.5.4 - 12485 - Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R2218) - EN - utf8) and have noticed several times this evening when the display shuts down. I noticed this afternoon while it was playing, as well. The buffer would run out, it would remain dark for several more seconds, then come back on as if nothing had happened playing the current track from the beginning.
I logged onto my router when I noticed the TP going dark this evening and found this in the log at the same time it happened: 2007-08-07 20:57:24 UDP from 192.168.168.21:1719 to time.apple.com(17.254.0.26):123 The FROM address is static for the TP and I'm not sure why it's looking for the time from apple.com. I just changed the settings on my Apple Airports (the TP is connected Ethernet through one of them) to see if that solves it. They were getting time-of-day, even though their IP address differs from the TP.
