A further update (sorry if this is boring people but I'm keen for others
to avoid problems if possible). I have cancelled my order and had a
swift reply from Datakits apologising, saying the item was ready for
dispatch and promising to get it couriered to me by tomorrow morning if
I would continue with the order.

I have reiterated that I want the order cancelled.

Will keep the forum updated on any further progress. This is an
unfortunate start to my Squeezebox adventure (!) but if my own
experience can help someone else, I'll feel slightly better about it.
