I don't know about prices for Transporter in the UK, but I know that my first Squeezebox in March cost EUR 314 incl. shipping, and it took about two weeks before it was even on its way. My second one costs EUR 245 incl. shipping, and I ordered it this morning and received the shipping confirmation at noon. According to http://www.preissuchmaschine.de the next best price would be EUR 280 incl. shipping. So, yes, I think it is a "bargain".
