Running Vista, I downloaded the new Vista compatible Zonealarm Firewall. After installing ZA Slimserver would not open,though tray icon was present and indicated Slimserver running, and my Squeezebox lost connection to Slimserver, but not my wireless network. No amount of fiddling with Zonealarm would fix this, I had to uninstall ZA, but also uninstall Slimserver and reinstall it to get things back in working order. Tried this a couple of times with same result. Anyone else who has had similar experience? Anyway, beware of installing ZA together with Slimserver on Vista!
