All, I know this is an old thread, but I revisited this issue after giving up long ago and I found a very simple solution. Someone wrote a php script called ShoutPSP which basically rebuilds the URL to the stream.mp3 to trick the PSP in to thinking it's a huge static mp3 file. As the name implies, it was written to listen to Shoutcast stations on PSP.
It's only 2 files, the php script and an xml rss file. The *catch* is you need a web server that can execute php. Performance has been fine, the only drawback is you have to stop the music to go back to the remote control on the psp, and then go back again to the rss feed to listen to the music. -- merc4a2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ merc4a2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1230 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26310 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
